RCS India's radio monitoring service launches Nagpur & Kanpur on its internet portal
8 May 2008– Two new markets have been added into RCS India's media monitoring service, which now increases the total to 12 markets and 65 FM radio stations that are being monitored. In recent weeks, RCS India launched Nagpur and Kanpur radio monitoring data on its AirCheck internet portal at www.aircheckindia.com. Nagpur is the second media market in Maharashtra to be monitored, after Mumbai. And Kanpur has become the second city in Uttar Pradesh for which radio monitoring is now available, after services started in Lucknow earlier in the year. Next in line for commencement of services is Pune. AirCheck India is also already available for Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Surat.
Radio Mirchi, BIG FM and S FM are the stations on air in Kanpur and for which monitoring data are now available. In Nagpur, Radio City, Radio Mirchi, MY FM and S FM are on air and are being monitored.
Aside from its traditional subscribers from within the radio industry itself, Aircheck media monitoring services in India have recently found particular interest from record labels, advertising agencies, news media and even telecoms.
